Title: Thoughts/Suggestions for a New Ketamine User?
Post by: zipstyle on December 25, 2012, 06:07 pm
No needles, in b4 needle comments.

I have been curious for quite some time about ketamine, though I've never had a chance to try it. What are people's thoughts on K? I have tried MXE in the past and thought it was nice, but it seems like K is the classic favorite. Is K nice in low doses for a lil fuck-me-up, trip-me-out?

Looking forward to your suggestions, comments and so forth!

K is certainly nice in low doses for your purposes. Start with small bumps and see where it takes you. At low doses it also goes great with weed, lsd & mdma, adding a spacey, trippy edge. At high doses it's quite the experience and can give you full blown disassociation and trips to places you've never imagined before.

Would 1 gram last a decent amount of time for a beginner? And should I go for racemic or S-isomer?

1 Gram will do without a doubt for quite a few times for a beginner, i would start with small lines and work the way up :)

I'm also about to try some K for the first time, got a gram of isomer-S off SR. However, the last thing I want is snorting or injecting this shit.. so I'll just dilute it in some warm water and gulp it down. According to Erowid, a gram should be about 3-5 strong doses, or 2 "K-Hole" doses :)

A gram of  racemic Indian shard will last me months. I do a match head at a time and wait 5-10 minutes in between bumps as the stuff is very strong and hits hard. Someone posted about doing a half gram for a "k-hole" experience, that would kill me I think. Go slow until you get your feet wet.
K is kind of hard on the stomach at higher doses. Lots of fun though, may want to try the first few times at home in a relaxed position.

What a coincidence. I'm going to try K for the first time in an hour or so. I log in to forum and I see this topic.

My "thought/suggestion" is that you stay far, far, far away from ketamine.

Ket becomes very trippy psychedelic combined with weed, time slows down, open eye visuals- there was a gremlin sitting beside my PC monitor, seeing my bones flashing underneath my skin, like xray vision. moreso sativa-like strains though.

combining with something that causes you to revert into yourself and away from the outside world is great when combined with something that gives euphoria..
whats K+MDMA called, Robo-flipping?

Simple suggestion - don't.....and if you do, there will come a time when you wished you'd listened to me :) .....
if you choose to, buy your kidneys a "you're leaving, sorry to see you go" card in advance.
I watched Ketamine almost destroy the dance scene - I watched friends become heavily addicted to it, despite thinking it's all good, at the same time as shoveling so much up their noses due to tolerance build-up that I couldn't understand where it had all gone!! it is a horrible dirty drug that does nothing useful and lots of damage. I have watched formerly intelligent beautifully entertaining friends become dribbling incoherent idiots who I really don't wish to be associated with..... don't
(and believe me when I say - I have had a lot of experience with a lot of drugs, including ketamine.....)

I agree with kissmyass.
Don't get me wrong I'm a Dissocia fanatic.
If you find you like Ketamine, then you will also notice over time that you treat it the same way a cokehead treats cocaine. I can do a gram in 3 hours or less. Actually I can do a gram in less time because I intramuscular inject 300mg at a time. I stopped using it as I did cocaine. Ketamine was easier to stop because once you build up your tolerance to a certain level it's pointless to use...you get no effect and the real asskicker is the tolerance does go away even remotely quickly. I developed a Dissociative tolerance that left me on a 6-7 months of no contact what so ever  before my nmda levels came back to a level where I could feel effects again, but I still have altered my balance forever I'm sure. It'll never be the same.
So be careful and research Ketamine properly as with any and all drugs you plan to consume.

racemic is my favourite, its just a matter of what kind of fucked you want to be, if you google racemic s-isomer ketamine comparison i think there's some sites that explain the difference just do a bit of research so you're familiar with what you're going to be feeling, this reduces tensions and strengthens enjoyability! if you've got any questions just message me on here, im happy to answer any questions/concerns!

I've only tried it one time while I was rolling on MDMA and I didn't really know what I was supposed to feel, I eventually stood up and felt kinda dizzy or "drunk" in a way, and the effects died off after like 20-30 minutes.  I only had a small key bump someone offered me.

I'm getting a gram of racemic too just to give it a whirl, and really my only interest in ketamine is to try the khole once or twice and then not do it again.  Is there any physical damage I can do to myself just by having a bit of a flirt with this chemical or is it safe to blow through a gram and never touch it again, or only rarely touch it?

Regular use causes kidney damage, this i also learned the hard way.
Same goes for MXE even though it is suppose to not damage the kidneys I can feel it when I use MXE.

While I definitely found ketamine interesting, I never had any otherworldly experiences or euphoria. I felt disoriented, but even at high doses I was functioning fine. Eventually if I snort enough I'll sort of fall half-asleep. But I don't have any vivid visions or anything close to that...

I have trouble understanding how anyone likes it enough to become addicted though....

Music + Ketamine = Godly

I spent about an hour and a half listening to AWOLNATION radio on pandora and flying through my mind and its multiple levels this morning after doing a nice K-bump.

nomad, what would you say the negative consequences of permanently altering your NMDA balance have been?

ng
i myself have been a ket user for around 4 years, its a great drug. The only damage you will be doing to yourself on your first time is to your nose, unless your nose is used to inhalation

I recently bought the smallest amount I could find (250mg) from SR - I kinda like dissosiatives. 250 mg gave me 3 days of 1-2 hour "highs" each. It was a clean high, no voices talking to me, but quite dream-like. I also have a bit of trouble understanding how some people could like a dissociative too much.

If you build up a tolerance to K and start doing large amounts there is a very real chance of bladder damage... Just something to think about if you like it too much, is it worth pissing in a bag?

Beware the infamous K-hole.

Some people can never climb out!

If you get trapped in a K-hole it will make a black-hole seem somewhat weak in comparison.

If you cannot pull yourself out of a K-hole before the Ketamine wears off then you are certainly doomed to end up a mindless, blithering, drooling madman:_|
